Youth Resource Development Program (YRDP) was formally initiated in October 1992 and legally registered with the Ministry of the Interior (MoI) in 1999 in the field of civic and peace education, and youth empowerment. The main goal of YRDP is to empower youth to become active responsible citizens with a better quality of life through taking concrete initiative actions and motivating others to promote sustainable peace, justice, and promotion of democratic society.
Currently, we are seeking for national candidates to fulfill the vacant positions below:
Project Assistant for Youth Initiatives for Political and Social Action. This position is expected to start as soon as possible with a salary between USD 368.00 to USD 412.00.
Main Responsibilities :
• Assist and support the project in developing and implementing annual project plan of action plan, and budgeting annually, quarterly, monthly, and weekly,
• Assist in preparation cash advance and settlement for activities implementation;
• Assist in providing training and capacity building to youth clubs in Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham, and Battambang provinces;
• Conduct monitoring to youth club’s project implementation at the field level;
• Assist the project to conduct club orientation for new club creation;
• Closely work and support youth club to carry out their project’s activities;
• Assist in mobilizing youth for project and YRDP’s events; and
• Perform other tasks as require by the supervisor.
Requirements /Qualifications :
• BA in related field such as Development Studies, Sociology, Community Development, Economic, Environment, Human Rights and Laws,
• One-year work experience in working with NGO as full-time staff or volunteer;
• Experience in project cycle management, particularly with youth project, is a plus;
• Experience in working with youth, especially youth group, and event management,
• Computer skill (Word, Excel, Power Point);
• Good at in writing and speaking both English and Khmer; and
• Good at interpersonal skills: Communication, problem solving, facilitation, time and task management.
