Youth Forum on “Engaging Cambodian Youth in Promoting Inter-Ethnic Harmony” on 28th August, 2010

Youth Resource Development Program (YRDP) is going to host a youth forum on “Engaging Cambodian Youth in Promoting Inter-Ethnic Harmony” from 7:30 to 12:00 on August 28th, 2010 at the Pannasatra University of Cambodia (In the north of Boeng Keng Kong Market). The over 200 participants will consist of different ethnic groups, university students, national institutions, and other national and international NGO representatives.


The objective of the event is to promote youth’s engagement in reflecting and discussing inter-ethnic issues in their daily lives, and to learn how to live in harmony among ethnic groups in Cambodia.

The Forum is organized by YRDP staff in cooperation with volunteer students from Youth Engagement in Inter-Ethnic and History for Peace and Justice (YEIHPJ) and other YRDP youth volunteers supported by the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) .

YRDP is a local Non-Government Organization that builds confidence in youth by strengthening their critical thinking skills and empowering them to engage actively in building a culture of peace, justice and sustainable development in Cambodia.
